Wo Fat – The Gathering Dark

Originally released in 2006, The Gathering Dark is Wo Fat's debut album and the record that introduced the Dallas trio to the heavy underground. Across thirteen tracks spread over four sides of vinyl, they lay out their vision fully formed: heavy psychedelic blues, occult imagery, cosmic doom and swamp-thick riffs woven into a record that demands to be heard loud and in full.

This 2023 reissue on Ripple Music is a fully remastered edition presented in a gatefold sleeve with colour insert. It includes the bonus track "The Call Of Zuvembie" (Track B7), exclusive to this vinyl edition and not found on the CD or any previous pressing. This is the second pressing on Kelly Green Translucent vinyl.
