Wo Fat – Psychedelonaut

Dallas, Texas's Wo Fat have been one of the most consistently excellent bands in the heavy psychedelic underground since their formation in 2003. Rooted in the slow-burning, riff-heavy tradition of early Black Sabbath and Blue Cheer but filtered through a distinctly American lens, their sound is thick, hypnotic and deeply immersive.

Psychedelonaut, originally released in 2009, is widely regarded as one of their finest records. A sprawling, lysergic journey through heavy blues and cosmic doom, it showcases the band at their most exploratory and their most focused simultaneously. This 2021 reissue on Ripple Music brings the album back in a deluxe remastered edition, and adds the bonus track "Stratus" not found on the original CD release.

Pressed on Yellow/White Splatter vinyl and presented in a gatefold sleeve, this is a limited edition of just 1,000 copies.
