In 1993, Sepultura tore up the thrash metal rulebook. Chaos A.D. - recorded in Phoenix with producer Andy Wallace and released on Roadrunner Records - was the sound of Max Cavalera, Andreas Kisser, Paulo Jr., and Igor Cavalera pushing into something heavier, more tribal, and more politically charged than anything they'd done before. "Territory," "Refuse/Resist," "Slave New World" - these are songs that hit like a fist and haven't lost a gram of force in the decades since.

This 2017 expanded reissue presents the album newly remastered on 180g vinyl in a gatefold 2LP, with 17 bonus tracks that make it the definitive edition. Mint, never played.
