About Obituary

Formed in Tampa, Florida in 1984, Obituary are one of the founding pillars of death metal. Alongside Morbid Angel and Death, they helped define the Tampa sound: down-tuned guitars, guttural vocals and a groove-heavy brutality that still hits hard decades on. Slowly We Rot is where it all began.
