Monolord - Rust (Pink/Purple Splatter 2LP)

Heavy, spacious and steeped in psychedelic gloom, Rust brings together the doom, sludge and stoner rock sides of Gothenburg trio Monolord. Across six tracks, it offers a full double-LP journey, with the extended closing pair, “Forgotten Lands” and “At Niceae”, given a side each.

Originally released on 29 September 2017, the album was recorded by Monolord and mixed and mastered by drummer Esben Willems. Violin from Salome Kent on “Wormland” and keys from John Gamino on “Rust” and “At Niceae” add further colour to the guitar, bass and drums. This copy is the 2021 fifth pressing on pink/purple translucent vinyl with black splatter, limited to 200 copies.
