Mephistofeles – Whore

Mephistofeles hail from Paraná, Argentina, and describe their sound as proto doom and heavy psych rock. Whore is their debut album, originally released in 2017, and the record that put them on the map of the international heavy underground. Dense, ritualistic and unrelenting, it channels the narcotic weight of early doom and the lysergic haze of heavy psychedelia into something with a dark, occult edge entirely its own.

This 2025 reissue comes courtesy of Heavy Psych Sounds, pressed on a striking White/Red Splatter Black vinyl and housed in a gatefold sleeve. Strictly limited to just 100 copies.
