Kyuss - Blues For The Red Sun | Dark Red Marbled Vinyl

John Garcia's commanding vocals and Josh Homme's thick, fuzz-drenched guitar are at the heart of Blues For The Red Sun, a defining record of desert rock. Alongside Nick Oliveri on bass and Brant Bjork on drums, they give Kyuss a sound that is heavy without losing its swing, psychedelic without drifting away from the riff.

Emerging from Palm Desert's party scene, Kyuss made their second album with producer Chris Goss in 1992. From the surging drive of Green Machine to the slow-building weight of Freedom Run, it balances crushing guitar tones with space, tension and loose-limbed rhythm. This 2016 German repress presents the album on dark red marbled vinyl.
