A side project from Nick DiSalvo and Mikael Risberg of Elder, Gold & Silver strip things back to their most elemental slow-moving, mineral-heavy, and deeply immersive. Azurite & Malachite is named after two of the earth's most striking copper minerals, and the music matches: layered, iridescent, and quietly hypnotic.

This 2019 limited reissue presses the record onto 180g 3-colour marble vinyl. A fitting format for music this textural. If you know Elder, this is the quieter, more contemplative side of that world. If you don't, it's a perfect place to start.
