Fu Manchu - California Crossing (25th Anniversary Coloured LP)

Sun-baked riffs, open-road momentum and a little extra shine on the chrome. California Crossing keeps Fu Manchu's Southern Californian fuzz firmly in place while bringing their knack for a hook into sharper focus. Thinkin' Out Loud and Mongoose tuck bright, instantly memorable melodies beneath the guitar grit, giving the heaviness a pop sensibility without sanding away its character.

It's the balance that makes this record such an easy one to return to: thick distortion and laid-back swagger, with songs that stick long after the needle lifts. This limited 25th-anniversary edition on At The Dojo presents the album on red, white and blue vinyl in a gatefold sleeve.
