Faith No More - King For A Day, Fool For A Lifetime (2019 180g 2LP)

Faith No More thrive on contrast, and King For A Day, Fool For A Lifetime gives that instinct plenty of room. The sharp attack of Get Out and The Gentle Art Of Making Enemies sits against the smoother pull of Evidence and the weary sway of Take This Bottle. Mike Patton's shifting vocal character holds the extremes together, making the changes in mood part of the appeal.

This 2019 European remastered reissue/repress expands the fourteen-track album with eight bonus tracks, including Absolute Zero, I Started A Joke and the Italian-language version of Evidence. Presented on two 180-gram black-vinyl LPs in a gatefold jacket, it offers a broader look at the band's range beyond the main album.
