In 2021, the Foo Fighters returned to their roots, releasing Hail Satin under the name Dee Gees, the moniker Dave Grohl used before Foo Fighters ever existed. A raw, garage-rock record recorded in just a few days, it strips back the production and lets the songs speak for themselves. The album is a cover record, reimagining Bee Gees classics including Night Fever, You Should Be Dancing, and More Than a Woman through a grungier, harder-edged lens. Released exclusively for Record Store Day, it was always going to be a collector's item.
