Crowbar - Sonic Excess In Its Purest Form (25th Anniversary 2LP)

Crushing weight, hardcore resolve and a sense of melody buried deep in the riffs. Sonic Excess In Its Purest Form captures Crowbar's New Orleans sludge sound with all its grit intact, moving from the opening force of The Lasting Dose and To Build A Mountain to the brooding close of Empty Room.

Originally released on 21 August 2001, Crowbar's seventh studio album centres on vocalist and guitarist Kirk Windstein and marks the band's final album with guitarist Sammy Duet. This 2026 25th-anniversary edition on MNRK Heavy presents the album across two LPs on 'lemonade in black' vinyl, housed in a gatefold sleeve.
