Comet Control: Comet Control

The self-titled debut from Toronto's Comet Control arrived in 2014 on Tee Pee Records and announced a band with a firm grip on the psychedelic rock tradition and no interest in playing it safe. Formed by ex-members of Quest For Fire, the lineup brings together Chad Ross on vocals and guitar, Andrew Moszynski on guitar, Nicole Howell on bass, Jay Anderson on drums, and Christopher Sandes on keys.

The result is a record that balances fuzz and melody with real craft, sitting comfortably in the space between stoner rock and classic psych without being beholden to either.
