Clutch – Pure Rock Fury (Orange 2xLP, Unofficial Reissue)

Released in 2001 through Atlantic Records, Pure Rock Fury is Clutch’s fifth studio album, a collision of hard-rock muscle, stoner-rock swing and the band’s own off-centre wit. The title track charges straight ahead, “Careful With That Mic...” brings a sharper edge, and “Immortal” digs into a deeper groove. Contributions from Scott “Wino” Weinrich, Leslie West of Mountain and members of Sixty Watt Shaman add to the album’s heavy-rock pedigree.

This orange double-LP is a 2023 unofficial reissue, housed in a single-sleeve jacket. The edition includes a live “Spacegrass” at the end of side D. It is not an official Atlantic Records pressing.
